Dr. Gilb served on the Executive Council of the International Society for the Comparative Study of Civilizations (ISCSC) for several terms, and was active in the organization for over 25 years. Her ISCSC correspondence, papers delivered to ISCSC conferences, articles that appeared in the Comparative Civilizations Review, and her last unpublished manuscript, The World's Earliest Cities, can be found in the ISCSC archives.
